The Big Game on Sunday is in Craughwell not Croke Park

Mágh Cuilinn make another bid to secure their Senior status on Sunday midday in Craughwell. While Tynagh Abbey Duniry are formidable opposition with a sprinkling of county panellists and former stars, they find themselves after four games in the exact same position as Mágh Cuilinn. With a better availability of players than for their last encounter, Mágh Cuilinn will be encouraged that their opponents in round 1 & 2 are still very much in the Championship and that they can produce one big performance. What a week that will have been.
PS: Rumour has it that the four way play off in Minor B is to be decided by two play-off games with each winner going through to quarter finals and that Mágh Cuilinn have drawn Cois Fharraige. Cois Fharriage might be considered the strongest team in some quarters yet they were unable to overcome Carnmore in the final group game, a feat Mágh Cuilinn (comprehensively) and Rahoon/Salthill had accomplished in the preceding couple of weeks.
Let's hope the Senior season ends on Sunday and the Minors give us plenty to cheer about in the autumn/winter ahead!!
