DVD/Calendar Launch a Great Success

CIMC had the launch of the souveneir calendar and DVD at the Forge on Wednesday night last (Dec 21). Only six of the panel were not able to attend through work and other committments. A considerable number of family and supporters also attended including Sean Callaghan and Damien Walsh who are home for Christmas from Canada and Australia respectively. Damien And Seán are pictured with the County and Connacht trophies and are modelling the T-shirts presented to the club by a nephew of our President, John O'Connor in Ruislip
A feature of the night was the return of one of the lost Moycullen Hurling banner. There is some debate as to whether the banner is the original banner from 1980 or the banner purchased to replace it in the mid-1990's. Either way it is good to have it back. Now for the Tommy Lally Cup!
Our County & Connacht final DVD as well as being presented to the players by Ann Marie Kelly, who sponsored their copies, also went on sale to the general public. About 4 copies of the DVD are still available, though more can be ordered after Christmas. 10 copies of the US Format DVD had been ordered (although it seems more will be needed) and will be available to in the New Year.
Also launched on the night was our 2012 Commorative calendar, which has proved very popular, insofar as the initial batch of 110 shave sold out already. Kevin Kyne and Paddy O'Malley can be seen leafing through their new purchases at the launch. A further batch of calendars will be available in the early days of january. You can book your copy now by emailing secretary.moycullenhurling.galway@gaa.ie . The better idea we have of the numbers still requiring a copy the more accurate our order can be.
