The grand final of the senior classes competition was a tough competitive affair. Contested between teams A and B, managed by David Kearns and Martin Barrett respectively and led by Cian Deane and Rhys Plower, the teams were locked together at halftime at 1-04 a piece. Cian Folan had contibuted all of Team A's scores while Aaron Barrett scored three long range frees to contribute to Rhys Plower's equally long range high delivery that found the net. Team B looked to have fallen behind when Cian Folan goaled again sandwiched between two points (one disputed and as it turned out rightly marked wide) but they responded with first a free from Aaron Barrett followed by a goal from play, bringing the sides back together an intense battle was joined. Team A and chief scorer, Folan began to tack on the points as he freed the shackles of Sam Gibson and Cian Deane, Louis Corr and James Bradley were beginning to get the upper hand on a previously dominant Kevin Walsh in midfield. Ger Davoren and Donal Enright were making life difficult up front for Aaron Barrett who had pushed forward. Cian Folan finally hit another major as the teams tired and more space opened up. In the final minutes, scores clocked despite Team B getting a goal of their own to finish 5-11 to 3-05.
In the third place match, Team C appeared to have secured the win when they went three points ahead with a late point but with almost the final act of the match, a sideline cut from Niall Fitzgerald arrowed its way into the top right angle of the goal to leave honours even.
In the Junior event the yellow team looked to be the team to beat with some great skills displayed and were leading comfortably at halftime against the orange team, only to be overhauled by two late late goals to lose by 2 points.
The orange team might have seen a second half upset against the blue team but the blues just could not buy any luck as goal chances hit posts or barely deflected away from goal.
