Mágh Cuilinn Players on Galway City/ West U17 Celtic Challenge squad

Best of Luck to Ceillan Leonard, Sean Barrett and Shane Clancy who are part of the Galway City/ West U17 Celtic Challenge squad that take on North Clare on Wednesday (May 4th) in Pearse Stadium at 7:30.
The Celtic Challenge is a new inter-county development competition for players, aged 17 years old, who are not participating in State Examinations during May and June 2016. The games will run from Wednesday 4th May with the finals on Saturday 18th June 2016 and each team will play a minimum of 6 games. Matches at the Group Stages will be played on Wednesdays. Galway City/ West are in a regional group with North Clare, North Galway, Clare South/East, Mayo and Roscommon.
The ethos of the competition is a developmental one, where a 6-7 week programme of meaningful games is supplemented by a 1 to 1 ratio of games to training.
